La Yola del Pescador

Built on stilts directly over the turquoise water of El Cortecito beach, La Yola del Pescador is where you eat with your feet in the sand and the catch of the day still glistening from the morning's fishing boats. The dining deck has no walls - just thatched palapa roof, sea breeze, and a 180-degree view of Bávaro's coastline.

The menu changes daily based on what the local fishermen bring in. Caribbean lobster from the live tank, whole grilled snapper, ceviche prepared at the table, and a famous coconut-curry shrimp that draws regulars from across the resort zone. Sunset cocktail hour from 5 to 7 PM with two-for-one mojitos.
